About IDC Coin and Bullion

A Clearwater Bullion Dealer with Jewelry-Trade Roots

IDC Coin & Bullion is the coin and precious metals division of K.M.A. Sunbelt Trading Corporation, a Florida company incorporated in 1983 that trades as International Diamond Center. Founder Keith Leclerc moved to Clearwater, Florida at 21 and started out with $600 invested in eight gold chains. He went on to run diamond-buying operations in Sao Paulo from 1987 and established cutting facilities in Brazil and Israel before opening the first International Diamond Center retail showroom in Clearwater in 1990.

The coin and bullion division was established in 2007 as a return to the company's early roots in coin and bullion dealing. It operates from premises on Ulmerton Road in Clearwater and deals in US gold and silver coins, foreign coins, gold bars, silver bars, platinum and palladium bullion, numismatics, rarities, and paper currency.

IDC Coin & Bullion is a member of the American Numismatic Association and an authorized PCGS dealer, and runs its own IDC Verified product authentication system. The parent company also operates a charitable foundation, The Fifth C Foundation, which supports military families, youth programs, and anti-human-trafficking causes.

IDC Coin and Bullion: frequently asked questions

IDC Coin and Bullion is a precious metals division of K.M.A. Sunbelt Trading Corporation, the Florida-registered parent of International Diamond Center (IDC). The division, established in 2007, deals in gold and silver bullion coins and bars, platinum, palladium, numismatic rarities, and foreign coins from a retail location in Clearwater, FL. It is a distinct business from the IDC jewelry stores, with its own coin-focused identity.
IDC Coin and Bullion operates an in-house "IDC Verified" authentication process for the products it sells. For independent checks, confirm that weight and dimensions match the published specification for the bar or coin, and note that silver is weakly diamagnetic (a magnet should not cling). For coins, an NGC or PCGS-certified piece carries a tamper-evident holder with a traceable certificate number. IDC holds ANA membership and authorised PCGS dealer status.
Confirm the dealer is clearly identified (registered business name, physical address, contact details) and carries recognisable trade credentials such as ANA membership or PCGS authorisation. Check that payment pages use HTTPS and that the site offers insured, tracked shipping. Comparing premiums across dealers on a site like BullionFerret before committing helps you gauge whether a listed price is competitive.
