Our story
Why we built it
We buy bullion ourselves, and finding a fair price was always a chore. The cheapest dealer changes from one day to the next, so the only way to be sure was to open a dozen tabs and check them one by one, converting currencies in our heads and second-guessing which prices included tax.
We wanted a single place that did the hunting for us: every dealer, compared honestly, with the best price easy to see. Nothing like it existed for buyers like us, so we built it.
How it works
Comparing like for like
A coin and a bar can carry very different price tags yet hold almost the same metal, so comparing by sticker price tells you little. We compare on premium instead: how much a dealer charges above the live spot price of the metal it contains. Every listing is converted to your currency and has tax stripped out, then ranked by premium so the best value sits at the top.
We also keep an eye out for pricing errors. When a premium drops far below its usual range, we flag it as a suspected glitch and re-check the dealer's page before showing it. The full detail is on our methodology page.

Scope
What we cover
We focus on generic, bullion-grade gold, silver and platinum: coins, bars and rounds bought for their metal content at the lowest premium over spot. We do not cover numismatics, graded or collectible coins, where the price is about rarity rather than the metal itself.
We compare dealers across the main English-speaking markets, with every listing shown in your local currency and 9 currencies to switch between.

How we stay independent
- Ranked by price, nothing else
- Listings are sorted by premium, lowest markup first. The cheapest dealer for a given product comes first, every time.
- No paid placement, ever
- No dealer can buy a higher position or a badge. The ranking is the ranking.
- No affiliate influence
- We may add referral links to some dealers in future, but they will never change the order you see. Only the premium decides that.

- Not your counterparty
- When you buy from a dealer you found here, that sale is between you and them. We never take payment, hold stock, or ship metal.
- Not financial advisers
- Nothing on the site is investment or tax advice. Precious metals can lose value.
- Not an endorsement
- A dealer appearing here is not a recommendation. Always confirm the price on the dealer's own site and do your own checks before buying.
