Price accuracy
BullionFerret collects prices from dealer websites using automated systems. This data may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Common reasons include:
- Prices changing between our last collection and your visit
- Dealers showing different prices depending on payment method, quantity, or customer location
- Extraction errors caused by dealers changing their website layout
- Tax or VAT being included or excluded inconsistently
- Prices shown in a different currency than expected
Always confirm the price on the dealer's website before making a purchase. The price shown on BullionFerret is a guide, not a guarantee.

Content on this site — including guides, market insights, the gold-silver ratio, premium analysis, and glossary entries — is for informational purposes only. Spot prices
The spot prices shown on BullionFerret are collected from third-party sources and are indicative only. They are not real-time trading prices and may be delayed by several minutes. Spot prices are used to calculate dealer premiums and should not be relied upon for trading decisions.
Currency conversion
Where prices are shown in a currency other than the dealer's native currency, the conversion uses exchange rates from third-party sources (the European Central Bank via the Frankfurter API). These rates are updated daily and may not reflect the exact rate you would receive. Converted prices are approximate.
Tax and VAT
We attempt to show prices excluding VAT and sales tax where applicable, but tax treatment varies by country, product type, and dealer. Our calculations are based on published tax rates and may not account for all circumstances. Tax information on this site should not be taken as tax advice.
Dealer listings
Inclusion of a dealer on BullionFerret is not an endorsement. We do not audit, vet, or guarantee any dealer. We are not a party to any transaction between you and a dealer, and we accept no responsibility for a dealer's products, services, delivery, or conduct.
Glitch detection
Our system attempts to detect pricing errors ("glitches") where a dealer's price is unusually low. Glitch alerts are automated and may contain false positives (prices that look like errors but are intentional) or miss genuine errors. Glitch information is provided as-is and should not be the sole basis for a purchasing decision.
