Origin Traced is a supply-chain transparency programme from Swiss refinery Argor-Heraeus that certifies the mine source of the gold in each bar. It combines DNA markers applied at the mine, a microscopic surface-scan digital fingerprint for each bar, and a distributed ledger audit trail from mine to retail. The gold itself is .9999 fine and available as a 1 oz minted bar and 1 kg cast bar, each individually serialised in tamper-evident assay packaging.

Each bar carries an individual serial number engraved on the obverse that matches the number on its sealed assay card. The serial number also links to a distributed ledger record accessible via Argor-Heraeus online, where you can view the provenance documentation for your specific bar. Dealers equipped with Argor-Heraeus surface-scan technology can additionally verify the bar's unique physical fingerprint.
