About Baldwin's Bullion
The Bullion Arm of A.H. Baldwin & Sons
Baldwin's Bullion is the bullion trading arm of A.H. Baldwin & Sons, a London numismatic firm founded in 1872 by Albert Henry Baldwin. The firm opened its first London premises on Duncannon Street in 1901, where Albert worked alongside his eldest son Percy, and moved to Adelphi Terrace after becoming a limited company in 1920. It has traded from Strand-area addresses since then, and operates a shop at 399 Strand in central London, open Monday to Friday.
Family members shaped the firm across the generations: Fred Baldwin catalogued King Farouk of Egypt's coin collection, and Edward Baldwin established Baldwin's Auctions in 1994, which went on to conduct sales in London, Singapore, Hong Kong, and New York.
The dedicated bullion website has been online since early 2024, selling gold coins and bullion bars alongside the firm's numismatic auctions and coin buying service. A.H. Baldwin & Sons is a member of the British Numismatic Trade Association (BNTA).
