About Go Gold

New Zealand Gold Merchants: Refining and Dealing from Onehunga

Go Gold is the trading name of New Zealand Gold Merchants Ltd, a family-run bullion dealer and precious metals refiner founded in 1975 by metallurgist Bruce Coleman. The business initially concentrated on silver dealing; Bruce's sons Tony Coleman, now managing director, and Richard Coleman expanded it into gold in 2006.

The company operates from the restored historic Onehunga Woollen Mill building at 273 Neilson Street in Onehunga, Auckland, where it also runs its own precious metals refinery. The refinery melts down old jewellery and industrial scrap and separates out the gold and silver content, which feeds the company's NZ Pure Bullion brand of locally refined gold and silver cast bars. Alongside its own brand, Go Gold is the official New Zealand agency for PAMP Suisse bullion products and partners with Australia's ABC Bullion for imported precious metals, and it offers insured storage alongside its buying and selling services.

New Zealand Gold Merchants is LBMA accredited and a signatory to the Global Precious Metals Code.
