Each design appears in two weights, 1 troy ounce and 5 grams, and every bar is struck in .9999 fine gold with a proof-like finish that sets frosted devices against mirror-like fields.

The 5 gram version puts that collectible treatment at the series' lower price point. At 0.1607 troy oz, it sits in the same cost bracket as a 1/10 oz gold coin, which makes it a practical way to own a designed PAMP bar without committing to the full ounce. The packaging is part of the appeal: every bar ships in a tamper-evident CertiPAMP blistercard with an American flag design theme, a treatment unique to this series. Standard PAMP bars use green packaging, so the flag card marks these out immediately.

Authentication follows PAMP's usual standard. Each bar carries a unique serial number engraved on the reverse that matches the serial printed on its assay card, alongside the PAMP Suisse hallmark, assayer's mark, and weight and purity inscriptions ("5g Fine Gold 999.9"). Both come from the same refiner at the same .9999 purity in sealed assay cards, but the Fortuna is PAMP's standard line in the usual green packaging, while the America the Free trades at a higher premium because of its collectible design appeal and flag-themed CertiPAMP card.
