PAMP Nature's Grip Silver: frequently asked questions

Nature's Grip bars are priced well above the $65.58 silver spot price. The series carries a significant collectible premium over melt value because of its very low mintages, shaped holographic design, and individual serialisation. 1 dealer lists 1 releases on this page, so compare prices before buying.
Three releases have been confirmed: the 2023 Sunbeam Snake (mintage 3,000), the 2024 Green Anaconda (mintage 4,000), and the 2025 Giant Pacific Octopus. Each is a 1 troy oz .9999 fine silver bar where the creature appears to physically constrict or grip the bar, deforming its rectangular shape. A new predatory animal is released each year.
PAMP Suisse (Produits Artistiques Metaux Precieux) is the Swiss precious metals refinery that produces the bar at its facility in Castel San Pietro, Switzerland. 'Argent pur' is French for pure silver, indicating the bar is .9999 fine silver. PAMP is LBMA-accredited, and each Nature's Grip bar is individually serialised and sealed in a CertiPAMP assay card with Veriscan anti-counterfeiting technology.
Tax treatment of silver varies by country. In the UK, silver attracts CGT at 18% (basic rate) or 24% (higher rate) on gains above the £3,000 annual exemption; unlike gold coins, silver is not CGT-exempt. US sellers face collectibles CGT of up to 28% on long-term gains. In Canada, 50% of any gain is included in taxable income.
